JEE Mains 2024 City Intimation Slip Released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the advance city intimation slip for the Joint Entrance Exams (Main) 2024 Paper I. Applicants can download the slip from the official website using their application number and date of birth. The BE/BTech Paper 1 exam is scheduled for January 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 01. The city slip provides information about the cities where the exam centers will be situated.

    • Choose the link for the JEE Mains Exam 2024 advance city intimation slip on the homepage.

    • Enter your login details on the new page.

    • Submit the details, and you’ll see the advance city intimation slip.

    • Check the slip, download the page.

    • Print a copy for future reference.

JEE Mains 2024 Examination Schedule

The JEE Mains Examination Schedule can be understood as follows:

JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) will happen between January 24 and February 1, 2024. Session 2 is scheduled for April 1 to April 15, 2024. This is planned to avoid any overlap with Board exams, which might happen at different times in various states/Union Territories. In 2024, both Paper 2A and Paper 2B (BArch and BPlanning) will be held twice, in January and April.

Admission Eligibility for JEE Mains 2024

The JEE Main exam is the key to getting into prestigious institutions like NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs. To be eligible, you need at least 75% in the 12th-grade exam or be in the top 20 percentile. For SC/ST candidates, the qualifying marks are 65%. Also, specific subjects in the qualifying exam are necessary for admission to BE/BTech and BArch/BPlanning courses.

Examination Structure of JEE Mains 2024

The JEE Main exam has two parts. If you pass Paper 1, you can apply for Undergraduate Engineering programs like BE/BTech in NITs, IIITs, and other institutions funded by State Governments. Success in JEE (Main) also lets you take JEE (Advanced) for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is for those interested in BArch and BPlanning courses at various universities in the country.
