Actor Paresh Rawal will no longer be seen with Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty since he recently announced that he won’t be part of Hera Pheri 3, which made many fans sad as his popular character Baburao. Reports had suggested that he quit due to creative disagreements with the film’s makers, but Rawal clarified there were no such issues.
In an interview with Mid-Day, he said it had come as a surprise to many, as he, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty shared a strong on-screen bond under director Priyadarshan. However, he explained that he no longer felt like he was part of the project. He added that his decision was final for now, though he admitted that things could still change in the future.
Paresh Rawal addressed the rumors about issues with director Priyadarshan and clarified that there were no disagreements between them and never could be. He said he had a lot of love, respect, and trust in Priyadarshan and appreciated the work they had done together in the past. He also said they would likely work together again. Rawal denied having any creative differences and added that money was not the reason for leaving the film. He explained that he simply didn’t feel like doing the role at the moment.
Even though things seem fine between Priyadarshan and Paresh Rawal, the situation between Baburao and Raju in the film is not going smoothly. This is especially clear after Rawal’s decision to leave the project. For the past two years, there has been a lot of talk about Hera Pheri 3. Suniel Shetty reportedly said that the film is important not just for their careers, but also for their peace of mind. He admitted that he was not sure what would happen next. The film is the third part of the popular Hera Pheri series, with the first releasing in 2000 and the second in 2006. The third movie was announced in 2023, and earlier this year, Priyadarshan was confirmed as its director.
