The full-length trailer of Mirzapur: The Movie dropped on August 11, 2026, and the internet has not been the same since. The film is set for a theatrical release on September 4, 2026.
The trailer wastes no time pulling you back into the gritty, violent world of Purvanchal. Kaleen Bhaiya, played by the inimitable Pankaj Tripathi, opens with his signature cold authority: “Gaddi na toh virasat se milti hai, na siyasat se. Milti hai toh sirf aur sirf baahubal se. Aur tikti hai darr se.” — a line that instantly reminded fans why they fell in love with this franchise.
Pankaj Tripathi returns as Kaleen Bhaiya, Divyenndu reprises his fan-favourite role as Munna Bhaiya, and Ali Fazal is back as Guddu Pandit — with the battle for the Gaddi at the centre of it all. This time, the story moves beyond Purvanchal, taking the Mirzapur universe into the deserts and exploring a much larger cinematic world.
The biggest new addition is Ravi Kishan, who plays Yadav Ji — a new challenger to the Mirzapur throne. His dark humour and menacing screen presence have already made him a fan favourite, with audiences praising his performance even from just the trailer.
