Khan Sir’s Patna Coaching Centre Vandalised

A coaching institute run by popular educator and YouTuber Faizal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir, was allegedly vandalised in Patna on the night of June 2, sparking concern among students and leading to a police investigation. The incident took place at the Khan Global Studies coaching centre in the Kadamkuan area, where a group of individuals reportedly damaged property, pelted stones, and assaulted a security guard.

According to Patna Police, officers reached the scene shortly after receiving reports of vandalism around 10:10 PM. Preliminary investigations and CCTV footage suggest that 15 to 20 individuals allegedly linked to another coaching institute may have been involved in the attack. Police have identified several suspects and are conducting raids to make arrests. Authorities also clarified that CCTV footage has not confirmed reports of firing during the incident.

Speaking after the attack, Khan Sir claimed that “anti-social elements” entered the premises, threatened staff members, and severely assaulted a security guard. He linked the incident to the recently announced Bihar Police recruitment examination results, in which thousands of students from his institute reportedly qualified. According to him, tensions may have escalated after a felicitation event was organised for successful candidates.

The educator also suggested that rivalry within Patna’s highly competitive coaching industry could be a possible reason behind the attack. Khan Sir alleged that some coaching operators were unhappy with the affordable fee structure of his institute and its growing success. “Poor people also have the right to study,” he said while speaking to the media.

The incident triggered protests from students, many of whom gathered outside the coaching centre on Wednesday demanding strict action against those responsible. Heavy police deployment was seen in the area to maintain law and order while the investigation continued.

As of now, the police investigation remains ongoing, and no official conclusion has been reached regarding the motive behind the attack. The incident has once again highlighted concerns about safety and rising competition within India’s coaching industry.
