The Delhi bomb blast in a school has triggered a multi-agency response and the Police is investigating the possible conspiracy behind it.

An explosion occurred this morning at the CRPF school in Delhi’s Rohini, damaging a section of the school’s wall. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported. Forensic experts and officers from the Delhi Police special cell are on-site, investigating the cause of the blast. A video captured by a local resident shows smoke rising from the vicinity of the explosion. The eyewitness stated, “I was at home when I heard a loud noise and saw a cloud of smoke. I recorded the video but don’t know any further details. Police and an ambulance have since arrived at the scene.”
The explosion occurred at 7:47 a.m. near the CRPF school in Prashant Vihar. Senior police officer Amit Goel stated that experts have been called in to investigate the cause of the blast. In a later update, police reported that nothing suspicious has been found so far, and the underground sewage line is being examined as part of the investigation. Local residents mentioned that the explosion shattered the windows of nearby parked cars and damaged shop signboards in the area.
Update on the Explosion
At 7:47 a.m. today, a PCR call was received reporting a loud blast near CRPF school in Sector 14, Rohini. The SHO and staff arrived at the scene, where they found a damaged school wall and a foul smell in the air. Glasses of nearby shops and a parked car were also damaged. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, according to the police statement. A crime team, forensic experts, and a bomb disposal squad were called to the site, which has been cordoned off. The fire brigade is also present, and authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion.
