Vikas Sethi Death Reason
His wife Jhanvi Sethi mentioned that they had gone to Nashik for a family function. After arriving at her mother’s house, Vikas began experiencing vomiting and diarrhea. He was unwilling to go to the hospital, so they asked a doctor to visit them at home. The next morning, when she tried to wake him around 6 am, she found that he had passed away. The doctor informed them that Vikas had died in his sleep the previous night due to a cardiac arrest. Jhanvi also stated that his body had been sent to Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital for a post-mortem.
Vikas’ funeral will take place in Mumbai on Monday. He is survived by his wife and their twin sons, who were born in 2021.
Vikas Sethi was widely recognized for his roles in iconic daily soaps like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kasautii Zindagii Kay. A lesser-known fact about him is that he also portrayed the small but memorable role of Robbie in Karan Johar’s 2001 blockbuster Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Vikas has appeared in other numerous serials, including K Street Pali Hill, Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaa, Gustakh Dil, Uttaran, Geet Hui Sabse Parayee, and Darr Sabko Lagta Hai. Vikas had competed in the fourth season of the dance reality show Nach Baliye alongside his then-wife, Amita. The couple eventually separated a few years later. In 2018, he married Jhanvi. In June 2021, Vikas announced the birth of their twins on social media. Posting a photo on Instagram, he wrote, “From being best friends to getting married and now becoming parents, Jhanvi and I have experienced a journey that words can’t fully capture—this is one of those beautiful moments that can only be felt in the heart.”
