Suchana Seth Case
Suchana Seth, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of an AI startup in Bengaluru, allegedly suffocated their 4-year-old son to death, as stated by a doctor and was arrested.
Presumably, she was discontented with a court ruling that permitted her estranged husband to visit their son every Sunday.
Suchana Seth, CEO of The Mindful AI Lab., was arrested in Karnataka’s Chitradurga while travelling from Goa to Bengaluru, following instructions from the Goa Police. The boy’s body was found in a suitcase. The postmortem report from a senior doctor suggests she smothered him. This tragic incident occurred in a Goa service apartment.
After the incident, Seth allegedly tried to harm herself by cutting her left wrist. Yet, she changed her mind and travelled back to Bengaluru with her son’s body in a bag using a tourist cab. This information came from the initial police inquiry.
The 39-year-old entrepreneur from West Bengal, residing in Bengaluru, has been held in police custody for six days by a Goa local court. Suchana Seth and her husband are undergoing a divorce. Sources disclosed that Seth was discontented with the court’s decision allowing her estranged husband to visit their son every Sunday.
Nidhin Valson, Superintendent of Police in North Goa, mentioned, “The motive hasn’t been confirmed yet. We must examine the court order before giving additional remarks.” Police verified that the woman’s husband was abroad during the crime in Jakarta and has been notified about the incident.
